Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs how Merchants and their users may access and use the FatooraOnline® Platform (“Platform”) operated by Abzer DMCC and its affiliates (“Abzer”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). It forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to all activities carried out through FatooraOnline accounts. The purpose of this Policy is to ensure lawful, secure, and responsible use of the Platform while protecting Abzer, its infrastructure, and other users from misuse or harm.

This Policy ensures lawful, secure and responsible use of the Platform, and protects Abzer, its systems, and other customers from misuse. It is part of the Terms of Service and applies to all Merchants and authorized users of FatooraOnline.

The Platform may be used only for legitimate business purposes consistent with applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and any other jurisdiction where the Merchant operates. Each Merchant must ensure its authorized users, employees, and agents comply with this Policy. Use of the Platform in connection with unlawful activity, fraud, or misrepresentation is strictly prohibited.

Merchants and users must not, directly or indirectly, engage in the following:

  • Upload, transmit, or store information that violates law, infringes IP rights, or breaches confidentiality obligations.
  • Submit false, misleading, or incomplete invoice data to ZATCA systems or any government portal.
  • Use the Platform to engage in fraudulent billing, tax evasion, money laundering, or unauthorized payment activity.
  • Attempt to interfere with or compromise the security, availability, or integrity of the Platform, its infrastructure, or any connected network.
  • Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems.
  • Use automated bots, scraping tools, or reverse-engineering techniques to extract data or modify functionality.
  • Send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or phishing content using the Platform.
  • Impersonate Abzer, ZATCA, or any third party in communications or documents generated through the Platform.

These examples are illustrative and not exhaustive. Abzer reserves the right to determine, in its discretion, whether specific conduct violates this Policy.

All information submitted to or generated by the Platform must be accurate, lawful, and business-related. Merchants remain solely responsible for data, invoices, customer information, and materials they upload or generate. Abzer does not review or verify Merchant-provided data and is not responsible for such content.

If Abzer becomes aware of material that appears unlawful, harmful, or inconsistent with ZATCA compliance, it may restrict access, disable the affected account, or notify relevant authorities as required by law.

Merchants must implement appropriate internal controls to safeguard account credentials, passwords, and authentication mechanisms. Accounts may not be shared unless expressly authorized. Abzer uses technical and organizational measures to secure the Platform, but each Merchant is responsible for protecting its own credentials and devices. Suspected unauthorized access or misuse should be reported immediately to security@abzer.com.

When using APIs, payment gateways, or integrations, the Merchant must follow applicable technical documentation and ensure usage does not overload or disrupt systems. API keys are confidential and must be secured. Abzer may suspend or limit API/integration access if it detects abuse, excessive usage, or risk to performance or compliance.

FatooraOnline is designed for a broad customer base. Merchants must not initiate excessive or automated requests that degrade service for others. Abzer may apply rate limits or temporarily restrict heavy usage to maintain platform stability.

Merchants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ZATCA requirements when using the Platform. Abzer may cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, or PSPs to investigate suspected illegal activity or Policy violations, to the extent permitted by law.

Abzer may suspend or terminate access if it reasonably believes a Merchant or user violated this Policy or engaged in harmful conduct. Abzer may provide written notice explaining the reason but is not required to do so before taking action. Restoration of access is at Abzer’s discretion and may depend on resolution of the underlying issue.

Abzer does not actively monitor content, invoices, or user activity and assumes no duty to do so. Abzer reserves the right to investigate violations and take appropriate technical, legal, or administrative measures to protect its systems and customers.

Merchants remain fully responsible for their actions and compliance with this Policy. Abzer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim resulting from a Merchant’s or user’s breach of this Policy or from data submitted through the Platform. The Merchant agrees to indemnify and hold Abzer harmless from any claim, penalty, or cost arising from misuse or violation of this Policy.

Abzer may revise or update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal, technical, or operational requirements. The revised version takes effect upon publication on the Platform. Continued use of FatooraOnline after any update constitutes acceptance of the modified Policy.

This Policy and any related dispute are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent courts of Riyadh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of and should be read together with the FatooraOnline Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In case of conflict, the Terms of Service shall prevail.

This Policy does not create monitoring obligations or warranties for Abzer. Abzer’s responsibility is limited to maintaining the Platform infrastructure and enforcing this Policy at its discretion. Nothing herein shall be construed as granting any rights or remedies against Abzer beyond those expressly provided in the Terms of Service.
